Gwang-ju citizens fought the armed soldier with naked fists for the sake of justice, and in the way hundreds of people who participated in and even was innocent were killed. To remember this righteous event, we take lesson about The 5.18 a pro-democracy movement in May 18 every year. And we have various things related the movement such as a '5.18'memorial park and burial ground. Sometimes I listen to the day's situation from the village seniors who lived in those days.
